Peter Blakemore thinks the Curriculum Committee needs to make a push to make the assessment of Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) a smoother process. As curriculum comes before the committee, there should be movement towards making SLOs simpler and work more smoothly in the larger process. Allen Keppner summarized what needs to be done now: (1) streamline the SLOs for courses and programs; (2) simplify the assessment process; (3) use assessment results to inform change; (4) document process and provide evidence. 6. Adjournment: On motion by Allen Keppner, seconded by Gary Sokolow, the meeting was adjourned at 2:31p.m. Next Meeting: February 24, 2012 Page 3 of 3
