Student Writing Tutor – Duncan Campus
POSITION: The Cameron University – Duncan Campus is looking for a dependable student to work as a peer
tutor for the fall semester. Duties include working closely with other students to provide feedback on their
writing, keeping accurate records of tutoring sessions, maintaining files, and answering basic questions about
word processing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with the conventions of standard edited English grammar, mechanics, and usage
Understanding of expository writing processes and methods for documenting sources
Excellent interpersonal skills
Solid oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
Basic knowledge of word processing
