Review 1 – Entertainment Fun Depot By: Tanya Arrasola Location: 7 Roberts Road (Exit 51 off I-40) Ashville, NC, 28803 Phone Number: 828-227-2386 or 866-303-4386 Hours: Monday-Thursday 11:00am – 8:00pm Friday and Saturday: 10:00am-11:00pm Sunday: 1:00pm-8:00pm Front part of Fun Depot Introduction Fun Depot is a great indoor and outdoor entertainment center for young children as well as for teenagers and even for adults. The arcade area consist of indoor and outdoor go-carts, mini golf, 2-story laser tag, batting cages, bumper cars, mini- bowling, inflatable’s, games and simulators, climbing wall, kids soft play and even great food for your family to enjoy. Fun Depot is located in Asheville; you have to take exit 51 from 1-40 in order to arrive there. Specials From the moment you enter you have to pass through a tunnel in which the main desk is located at. As soon as you walk in the employees greet you and give you their prices in general and their special of the day. There prices range from $1 dollar all the way to $8 dollars for an activity or an attraction. Fun Depot also has packages that range from the amount of $10 dollars to $30 dollars. The prices are in the average range because you have the flexibility to decide if you want to play a lot or if you only want to pay for one event and not waste your money buying the big packets that include attractions and activities. Atmosphere The atmosphere is very friendly you could go with your whole family or even with your teenage friends. The Employees always make sure you are having fun and that you are in a safe environment. There are different types of attractions for every age group from children to teenagers and even for adults. When you enter Fun Depot you are surrounded by the arcade, batting cages, laser tag, mini golf, and the climbing wall. You are taken to the second part of the building, which includes the indoor and outdoor go-karts. The second floor consists of mini bowling, bumper cars, a few arcade games as well as some inflatables for the kids and rooms that are rented for parties. Parties Parties are a major role at Fun Depot since they have been voted number one for birthday parties for about four years in a row by WNC. The parties include having free Wi-Fi, a spacious meeting room, food and drinks provided, and different type of packages depending on what you decide to get. The prices start from $99 dollars depending on what you want for your child. Parties at Fun Depot could be have a huge advantage because not only are the kids having fun at the games but you also do not have to worry about cooking food and cleaning the after mess. The Depot Dinner The Depot Dinner consists of pizza, wings, hot dogs, fries, chicken fingers, hamburgers, salads, desserts, and very cold drinks. The prices are very cheap they start from $1 dollar all the way to $11.99. My family decided to get a pizza, which was really good. I would recommend eating here after you played for couple of hours in the arcade or bowling. Not only can you get food here but also you can order if you have a large group for example if a family of 6 or 8 comes here than they can get a package. The cost of a package starts from $18 dollars all the way to $22 dollars. What are included in most of the packages are 4 hot dogs and a box of fries, 8 chicken fingers and a box of fries, and 1 large pizza and a box of hot wings with drinks. My Experience Overall Fun Depot has been one of the few arcade places I have enjoyed because most of the new ones seem to have an environment for young teenagers and not for your whole family to be there and enjoy their time together. My parents have always taken us to Fun Depot because not only do they have activities and attractions, but they also have a bowling, golf and laser tag area while also having go-carts. Not many places offer all this attractions in one area and for a really cheap price. I played for about two whole hours in the arcade and the bowling area, which I enjoyed a lot. One of my favorite games in Fun Depot is the Jumping rope game because I always end up getting jackpot and getting a lot of tickets. When my whole family and I finished playing we ended up getting food in the food shop. We ended up getting pizza, which was really good they also had a really good service with their employees. When I left the employees were still very nice they gave me a smile and a wave which I enjoyed a lot because that meant they were very nice not only to me but they also enjoyed their job to. I would recommend Fun Depot because not only will you have fun but you will also have the best service you will imagine. The band's name is derived from the two cultures and musical genres it blends, Indian and Flamenco. Four years ago, several musicians got together to discuss music as the common force that connects all beings. Although each came from a different background and race, speaking different languages and born and raised in different environments, the musicians agreed that all those differences reflected in their music could be a powerful medium for connecting with music appreciators around the world, while delivering a fresh new twist and sharing new sound combinations. Indian and Flamenco music have many differences and similarities. Indian music originated in the Indus Valley, which later became the Indian subcontinent. The main characteristics of Indian music are Raga and Tala, which mean melody and rhythm. One can hear discrete nuances in melodic variations of Indian music. Flamenco music's main elements are melody, rhythm and harmony. Compositions have distinct moods and many feature variations based on their region of origin.
