Product: Write and perform a rap, poem, song or chant about place value.
Read all steps before starting.
1. Decide if you want to work individually, with a partner, or in a group of 3.
2. If you choose to work with a partner or in a group, determine who you are
going to work with.
3. Review the example songs and rap provided in the WebQuest steps 13,
14 and15.
4. Decide if you will write a rap, poem, song or chant.
5. Write your rap, poem, song or chant. Be sure you include:
a. Each value from ten-thousandths to millions
b. Information about the decimal
c. The value of digits on each side of the decimal
d. The role of 10 in the place value system
6. Plan your performance.
a. Decide who will say what.

7. Practice your performance.
