“Men's courses will
foreshadow certain
ends, to which, if
persevered in, they
must lead. But if the
courses be departed
from, the ends will change. Say it is thus with what you show
me!” - Ebenezer Scrooge
Amid the revelry of the holiday season, Ebenezer Scrooge
will realize that while he can't change the past, he can alter
his future. College of DuPage College Theater presents “A
Christmas Carol,” at 7 p.m. Friday to Sunday, Nov. 23 to
Dec. 2, and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 24 and 25
and Dec. 1 and 2, in the Building K Theater. Directed by
Amelia Barrett, this holiday classic is an adaptation by
William J. Norris who originated the role of Scrooge for the
Goodman Theatre. College Theater's biennial production of
Dickens' classic chronicles Ebenezer Scrooge's journey of
self-discovery as he revisits his past to rewrite his fate. As
the sour and stingy bachelor realizes the mistakes of his
youth, he learns the power of kindness to transform the lives
of those around him. A pre-show discussion will be held at
5:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23. A post-show discussion is
scheduled following the Friday, Nov. 30, performance.
Tickets: (630) 942-4000 or www.atthemac.org.

Important IT Notice Regarding Phishing Emails
In the past few weeks, IT has emailed notices alerting employees
about current phishing emails. This remains a significant College
problem. It is against common security practice to request sensitive
login credentials via an email. IT will never send you an email of
this nature. The same applies for all banks, credit card companies,
etc. If any email (from any source) asks you for your login
credentials or sensitive data it is likely a scam. Read More
