Street Law: It’s Good for Your Constitution
Street Law is a new course offered at College of
DuPage this fall. This course is for anyone interested
in the practical application of law and the basic rights
guaranteed by our constitution. Students will study how
the law applies to real-life situations connected to family,
work, housing, immigration and other areas. They will
gain insights from field trips to a law school and court
rooms and benefit from mock courtroom sessions and
guest speakers who are legal experts. This course gives
you the basic facts about the law in the United States.
