Fact Sheet

This three-day residential course for sixth form students, provides an introduction to student life and mathematics at the University of Leeds. We offer you a sneak preview of university life plus an insight into how mathematics develops at degree level. Our University tutors will extend and enrich your existing study of mathematics at A-level (or equivalent) through a series of talks.

We will give you an invaluable insight into the structure of mathematics degrees, the courses, admissions procedure and how to make the most of your application to university.

This is your chance to:

- Listen to world class mathematicians talk about the subjects they know best

- Get advice on the careers available with a mathematics degree

- Stay in student accommodation

- Get to know the campus, library and other facilities
