Bitterroot College Advisory Council Nomination of Connie Ward August 22, 2012 Connie Ward has served as GlaxoSmithKline-Hamilton’s Procurement Manager for the past seven years. In that time, she has successfully and skillfully managed the purchasing, supplier selection and contract negotiations for the Hamilton site. She has also managed the implementation of a Business Continuity Plan for the supply of critical raw materials and participates daily on cross-functional teams in the both the U.S. and in Belgium. Connie graduated from MSU with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1997 and received her MBA from Cal State Davis in 2005. She is the coauthor and owner of two procedural patents and has served a lead researcher on a multitude of different projects focused on defining genetic markers and genome sequencing in plants. Connie lives in Hamilton with her husband Joe and her two daughters, Bailey and Maddie. She is an active member of the Parent Advisory Council for the Hamilton School District and is an avid supporter of charities such as the Ronald McDonald House, Camp-Make-a-Dream and the MS Society.
