'AT MlTBODIST COLLEGE
. Liberal Arts .. Co-EducatiGllal
Methodist College offers a program designed
enable students to prepare for active and successful living as Christian citizens in the twentieth century. Through its academic program,
social functions, concerts and lectures and extracurricular activities, the college strives t'0 give
its students, in a distinctively Christian atmosphere, every opportunity to train the mind,
strengthen the will, discipline the emoti'0ns,
kindle the imagination, cultivate the conscience
and build up the body. While we cannot claim
.1'0 obtain these 'Objectives completely, we do
make an earnest and constant effort to that end.
We believe that education should be concerned
with teaching people how. to live as well as how
to make a living.
t'0
The most important single consideration in any
c'0llege is the faculty. The strength and quality
of Methodist Col1ege's academic program re,sts
with its hIgh quality faculty. The faculty-student
ratio at Metlrodist Oollege is 1·15, providin,g a
crose relationship which may be observed in the
freedom of academic exchange as well as through
