Animal nutrition company seeks Product Development Manager who can take product ideas from concept through
initial launch.

Responsibilities
Work with sales and technical staff to gather the details of product ideas
Coordinate the research trials for the product, this may include working with outside facilities
Create product information and marketing materials for each product
Work with sales and marketing to develop the marketing strategy for the product
Work with manufacturing to produce the product
Launch the product with sales and be available to answer questions from end user and industry professionals
To be considered for this position you must possess:
A track record of developing animal nutrition or animal health products
An applicable degree, preferably a MS degree in animal nutrition
An understanding of the science of animal nutrition
A team-oriented attitude and be able to work successfully with a variety of departments
The ability to be self-directed while being accountable for results
Project management skills
Strong verbal skills and technical writing skills
A passion for animal agriculture
