Based at the California Department of Public Health, this Public Health Institute position (currently myself) is
contracted to the Network for a Healthy California, a social marketing campaign to increase fruit & vegetable
consumption, physical activity, and food security among low-income families, reducing their risk of chronic disease.
The Local Food & Nutrition Education channel funds non-profit organizations to conduct nutrition education in the
context of food security & anti-poverty
