PROCEDURE:
A. Review Greetings and Introductions (approx. 8 min)
Play Geheimagent 007. First review expressions:
Wer bist du?
und
Wie geht’s?
B. Review Numbers (approx. 7 min)
Play Autsch! using 3s and 7s.
C. Clothing (approx. 10 min)
Introduce what you are wearing:
Das ist mein Hemd.
Then refer to p. 18 of Das Deutschbuch and write the German words on the board, while the
students write them down.

Students work in pairs to complete page 19 of Das Deutschbuch.
E. Male und schneide aus (approx. 7 min)
Refer students to p. 20 of Das Deutschbuch. Students take this page out of their book and
explain how they should go about making the paper doll and clothes.
[*** Consider giving the students an assignment for next time: designing and labeling an outfit.
Then the teacher can display their picture in the classroom. Please discuss this first with the
