Board of Governor's Vision
The CMCI mission statement "CMCI shall exist
to serve the public and the profession of
construction management through the
establishment and maintenance of criteria and
procedures for certification of construction
managers" sets the stage for the Board of
Governor's to maintain the integrity and
significance of the CCM certification. Each
year the BOG is actively engaged with ANSI to
maintain our certification program. Additionally
the BOG accomplishes our mission through our committees. I look
forward to providing updates on committee actions in future
newsletters. The recertification committee is presently reviewing our
recertification polices with a goal of streamlining and simplifying our
recertification policies. We're hopeful to announce the new policy
following the May Board meeting in Long Beach, CA.
On behalf of the BOG we look forward to seeing many of you at the
Owners Leadership Forum. I invite all of you meet the Governor's.
We welcome your comments and feedback.
CMAA Chair Award
Congratulations to Doug Titzer, CCM Division Vice

Governors, Doug has also been instrumental in
leading the CMCI Exam Committee through
countless hours of the rigorous ANSI audit to
maintain the CCMs valued accreditation. Doug is a
true ambassador for the CCM certification and has
continued supporting and promoting its importance
by speaking at conferences such as the CMAA National Conference
and the upcoming CII Annual Conference in July.
When Does Your
Certification Expire?
You earned your CCM, so make sure you
keep it! Take a moment to check your CCM

CMAA's webinars in your reminders to check for points towards your
recertification.
You'll receive an invoice from CMCI as your expiration date nears,
but make sure your contact information is up to date!
