Katy Hattula Faculty Mentor: Mary Jensen Special Education I made it my personal goal when I returned to school in August 2011 that I was going to lose weight and become healthier. I started in September 2011, so I have changed my behavior for thirty-two weeks to achieve my goal. I performed two things to change my behavior: I worked out at the rec for at least sixty minutes six times a week, and I ate a reduced calorie diet of 1300 calories or less every day of the week. I tracked this daily with an excel chart; I had my good days and I had my bad days, but overall I made amazing progress! My poster presentation will document the results I achieved.
