Framework ideas: Matt/Bella sent to all who attended at least one meeting We discussed council members becoming equity ambassadors/leaders Retreat will seek to develop skills/agreements in this area Personal awareness building Relates to membership, but more to engagement with NEP Safe environment is important Designed to do deeper work with Council What is minimum number desired? Should communicate sensitive nature of dialogue Important to share comfort levels and what we are asking of participants Feel representation of all groups is needed Also interest-­‐based participation is important Need to respect how we want to be identified Can’t make people come, but can make opportunity available Some may need more encouragement to participate Would be good to understand participation motivations Interest in catching up some folks to participate who may not have yet been involved • Email participants about expectations • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Budget Development FY 15-­‐16 • Matt presented draft budget proposal for feedback • Q: Were multi-­‐year proposals considered? o A: Not exactly: mostly rolled over • Q: Was the proposal process open enough? o ? • Proposal to set aside 5% for new proposals • Need another year to evaluate • Some feeling of premature to solicit new proposals • Reviewed Equity Coor.
