Read the source below. It is a brief given to government official to
produce a debate that would explain why rationing was necessary, how it
would work, and answer people's questions about it. Your task, as one of
these officials, is to write a script for the broadcast of the debate. Use
the information you have found in all the sources in this section to write
parts for the four characters in it. Once you have done this, you could
have a go at acting out the debate in your classroom.
