Marcellus, P. Zerull Guests S. Marsh, J. Petros Action on Minutes The minutes from the Seventh Meeting, October 27, 2009, were approved electronically to meet catalog deadline. UBUS 395 and BADM course designator The committee approved deleting S/U grading from UBUS 395. Also approved was a new course designator, BADM, for courses reserved for business administration majors. (See page 1 of 2) The committee discussed adding the careers course as a requirement for the B.S. in business administration degree. Discussion will continue at the next meeting. ACCY 206 A revision to the prerequisite for ACCY 206 was approved. The addition of OMIS 259 will assure students have a foundation course in technology skills prior to enrollment in ACCY 206. (See page 1 of 2) OMIS 259 The committee requested the course content of OMIS 259 be reviewed as the college required course has not been taught for several years and is planned to be offered Fall 2010. FINA 430 A revised course description for FINA 430 was approved. (See page 2 of 2) FINA Capstone Course The Finance Department presented a proposal deleting the MGMT 468 requirement and replacing it with FINA 485 as the capstone course for their majors. S. Marsh and J. Petros were present and gave input as requested. Further discussion will continue at the next meeting. Business Administration Advisory Group The formation of an advisory group for the business administration major was introduced.
