Salmon, K. Miller, K. Slattery Graduate Student Representative Kelly Slattery (MBA major) was introduced as the graduate student on the committee replacing David Haas who graduated in December. Action on Minutes The minutes of the Sixth Meeting, dated November 28, 2006, were approved as presented. Completion Requirements for Graduation The committee discussed the completion requirements for graduation for the various majors in the college. Further discussion will continue at the next meeting. Conversion Chart for PeopleSoft Student Information System In preparation for the implementation of the new student information system, a conversion chart for modifying the numbering system of *400-level graduate courses as well as thesis courses was approved. (See Appendix A.) Curriculum Inventory Assessment Sally Wakefield reviewed with the committee the College of Business Skills & Knowledge Curriculum Inventory: Undergraduate and Graduate Courses Assessment Project. The project will assess, among other things, where and to what extent the COB learning outcomes/objectives are covered across the curriculum. Faculty members of the committee will participate in a pilot survey prior to it being distributed to the entire faculty in the college. UBUS 101 A revision to the course description for UBUS 101 was discussed. ACCY Items Revisions to the Accountancy undergraduate and graduate curriculum were approved. (See pages 1-2 of 2.) Add/Drop and Withdrawal Policies Relative to the new student information system (SIS), to gain committee input Lori Marcellus distributed proposed revisions to the university add/drop and withdrawal policies. After discussion, the committee recommended the add/drop policy remain as currently stated. The committee endorsed a proposed revision to the undergraduate withdrawal policy which would permit students to withdraw from the university prior to the first day of the term via the self service option on the SIS web portal. MGMT 412 The committee approved the deletion of MGMT 412 from the Graduate Catalog. (See page 2 of 2.) BS in Bus Admin Major Course requirements for the BS in business administration major were discussed. Members were asked to review the 400-level required courses.
