MARCUS R. BODE
Marcus Bode is President of SpearMC Consulting, a systems integration and consulting firm that
specializes in Financial Systems from Oracle, PeopleSoft and SAP. He has an undergraduate
degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a CPA (in Illinois). Prior to
founding SpearMC, Marcus held senior management positions at KPMG, BearingPoint and
Accenture.
SpearMC has a long-standing relationship with NIU’s Department of Accountancy through an
annual SpearMC Consulting Scholarship award given to undergraduate and graduate students
with an emphasis in Accounting Information Systems. SpearMC has also participated in the
internship program by hiring students to serve as integral members of a consulting project.
When not travelling back and forth between SpearMC offices in San Francisco and Chicago,
Marcus enjoys living in the Berkeley Hills of California with Diane, his wife of two years.
