College of Arts and Sciences Committee on Academic Programs (ASCAP)
Minutes for Meeting of November 8, 2010
A scheduled meeting of ASCAP was held on Monday, November 8 at 3:00 p.m. in Holden Hall 129.
Committee members present were: Lee Cohen, Erin Collopy, Jerry Koch, David Lamp, Chris Monico,
Philip Pope, Rich Rice, and David Roach. Presenter: Dr. Roger Lichti.
Pending minor revisions, the committee voted to recommend to the next level of consideration
the following proposals from the Department of Physics:




Change course title and description for PHYS 3304 Intermediate Physics Laboratory.
Change course title for PHYS 5104 Instructional Laboratory Techniques in Physics.
Change course title for ASTR 1100 Astronomy Laboratory Science.
Change course title for PHYS 1100 Physics Laboratory Science.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of ASCAP is scheduled for Monday, November 22, for proposals
that reach the committee and the Dean’s office by Monday, November 15.
