Resolution to honor Marc Giaccardo
WHEREAS
Marc Alan Giaccardo served Texas Tech loyally as the 2000-2001 President of the
Faculty Senate, and
WHEREAS
His advocacy on behalf of the faculty is still remembered fondly by many of us, and
And WHEREAS
His recent passing has saddened all of those who respected, admired, and loved him,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
That the Faculty Senate expresses our condolences to his family and friends, and that
we extend our sympathies to all of those whose lives Marc touched with his enduring
spirit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
That the Faculty Senate adopt this measure by a standing vote, followed by a moment
of silence in tribute to the memory of Marc Alan Giaccardo in our meeting on January
15, 2014.
