10/07/09
-
Summary –
After a final set-point change to 76 degK on Oct. 2, NICMOS SMOV is
proceeding with focus measurements and dark monitoring. Several orbit-saving revisions to
the NICMOS SMOV plan are being considered. COS analysis activities have been
dominated by the line spread function (LSF) characterization and resulting Instrument Status
Report (ISR).

OPUS (TEllis)
 Fast-tracked NICMOS data for proposal 11408, with more data for this
proposal coming on Thursday.
 ACS association jb5723030 (members jb5723of, og, ok, and ol) that
originally errored in calibration due to RPTCORR and CRCORR both being
set to "PERFORM",was successfully reprocessed.
 Mike Swam filed TRANS OPR 63480 for this problem
 qekeyword.keyword_value in the SPSS database was incorrectly set
to a value of "2" (should have been "1") for
qekeyword.keyword_name = CRSPLIT
o George Chapman made the required changes.
 With help from Lisa Gardner and George Chapman, the unwanted records
for associations na7o01010-090 and na7o02010-0f0 were removed from the
OPUS and SPSS databases.
 The exposures that were originally members of these associations
failed the DADS house-keeping updates after not being collected into
the associations
o due to calibration being bypassed (dc_nic not triggered).
 They were all successfully reprocessed today.
