FUV Focus
• Recent analysis suggests that we are not at
optimal focus on the FUV channel – best
measurement to date is R ≈15,800
• Planning for an additional focus sweep for
G130M and G160M using a brighter target
with narrower lines
– Expect to choose a new target by COB
tomorrow so it can be scheduled as soon as
practical

Modification Test
• Divot and clod disappeared (shown last week)
• Relative throughput loss of at most a few percent
• Team agrees that nominal HV levels should be
permanently lowered to 169 (segment A) and 167
(segment B)
• Sent an email to GSFC last night requesting that
this change be made

count rate while lamps are on
