Service trip to St. Anne’s Parish, Jamaica
Many of you have heard Fr. Peter McIsaac, pastor of St. Anne’s speak at St. Ignatius about our
sister parish, St. Anne’s in Kingston, Jamaica. Kingston has deep poverty and is miles away
from the resorts of Negril, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.
A group of parishioners is traveling to Jamaica January 22 – January 29 for a service and faith
sharing trip. Each of us will be bringing an extra suitcase with items Fr. Peter McIsaac has told
us would be most appreciated.
How You Can Help
We would like to carry with us children’s books and clothing and school supplies.
Children and teens books
Children’s clothing
Have your child write a note to a child in
Jamaica. He/she could write why the book
is a favorite or start an e-mail/pen pal
correspondence.
New or gently used warm weather clothing.
School supplies
Pencils, composition books, pads of paper
Monetary donations
Please bring to the church by Sunday, January 21.
Thank you

SALTATE ET JUBILATE (SJ DANCE) - SUNDAYS BEGINNING JANUARY 22ND 2:30-4:30
We begin with 45 minutes of yoga taught by Dana Moore and then begin to move
freely using simple dances and rhythmic patterns that let the “inner dancer” find
expression and community. Using sacred music, the dancer is invited to find the connection between
body, soul and spirit. Capitalizing on his dance and teaching experience from the past 30 years, Fr. Bob
VerEecke S.J. has developed a way of dance that helps those who love to dance and want to make a
connection with their spiritual journeys. SJ Dance is rooted in the Jesuit principle of Finding God in All
Things. ($10.00 per class)
Contact Jamie Huggins at blde.org or 617-552-6130 for more information. Classes take place at the
