GSA Senate Meeting
1/27/12
I. Updates from the GSA
Programming (Dan)
-the Frog Pond ice skating event had 40ppl
-still looking at Feb 18 for the ball, details still being worked out
-Feb 24 Relay for Life (6-9) and Grads Give Back Day (9-5?). We are still working with the Law School, who is
coordinating Grads Give Back Day, to get the details.
UPDATE: it looks like the broad sketch of the day would be volunteering at multiple sites (different
groups, each with a captain--let me know if you'd be interested in being a site captain) until 5, or 5:30,
then coming back to BC to participate in Relay for Life with an end of the day party, most likely at
Citysides---what does everyone think? does this sound doable?
-possible Valentine's event
Restructuring of the GSA (Jillian)
-the GSA exec board and the OGSL staff have been holding weekly strategy meetings to implement the plan
-we are working on position descriptions for the exec roles and will disseminate them when they are ready
II. Updates from the OGSL
