Bob will raise the curtain again on a performance of Christmas Reflections that celebrates the true meaning of Christmas through story, music and dance. Christmas Reflections weaves together new works and favorites from A Dancer's Christmas with Irish Step dances choreographed by Helen O'Dwyer. The Cast includes dancers from New York, Boston, and the O'Dwyer School of Irish Dancing. JOB SEEKERS– Workshop on Effective Networking in a Difficult Economy On Wednesday, December 15th, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the Friary Room, the St. Ignatius Transitions Group will host a workshop on “Effective Networking.” We are fortunate to have as our guest speaker, Diane Darling, founder and CEO of Effective Networking, Inc., and author of “The Networking Survival Guide.” Ms. Darling has appeared on NBC Nightly News, in the Wall Street Journal, and Boston Globe, and she recently taught in the MBA program at Boston University. Her company works with people to ensure they establish optimal affiliations to maximize their potential achievement and reach their personal and professional goals. The workshop promises to be very worthwhile not only for those who are currently unemployed but also for anyone who is underemployed or looking to return to the work force. Carols and instrumental pieces from plainchant and 17th and 18th century European sources, including favourites such as “Le sommeil de l’enfant Jesus”, “Veni, veni Emanuel,” and a chance for everyone to sing along in your preferred language to “Silent Night”.
