Human Services Program Manager - CPS
Position Number – 1952BR
Provide management and oversight of five Child Welfare Units who provide Child Protective Services
Assessments, In Home Services, and Foster Care in the North Region of Wake County. Additional duties
include managing the two units of staff who work Afterhours. Position also requires collaboration with
community service providers to develop networks that support child protection and foster care and
serving on the Child Welfare Leadership Team.
NOTE: A criminal background check will be conducted.
Minimum Requirements – Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Health or related field and five years
of experience related to the area of employment.
Preferred Requirements – Master's degree in Social Work or other related field or equivalent and at
least two years supervisory experience in Child Welfare or other involuntary services. Experience
providing CPS Assessments In Home or Foster Care.
Schedule – 8:30am - 5:15pm with evening hours as needed
