Human Services Program Consultant – Child Welfare Position Number – 2410BR The Child Welfare Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Consultant is responsible for the leading the process to evaluate and improve compliance and best practice within this Division. This position coordinates and facilitates the agency's participation in the Child and Family Services Review. The CQI Consultant will work with the Child Welfare Leadership team to develop short and long term training goals as well as providing or procuring any necessary training. The CQI consultant provides supervision to staff who conducts record reviews, training and team meeting facilitation to ensure that Child Welfare mandates are met. Minimum Requirements – Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Health or related field and five years of experience related to the area of employment; or equivalent. A valid driver's license and a "safe" driving record required. Preferred Requirements *Master Degree in Social Work or related field *Supervision in Public Child Welfare *Direct Practice in public Child Welfare in North Carolina *Current NC Pre-Service Training for Child Welfare workers *Experience in training and presentations Schedule – 8:30-5:15pm with flexible hours as needed to meet the demand of the work.
