Dr. K. Mark Weaver joined the Mitchell College of Business faculty in the fall of 2011 as the Ben May
Chair of Entrepreneurship where he teaches entrepreneurship courses. He is the founding director of the Carl and Jewel
Melton Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. He has helped create incubator facilities for technology companies at multiple universities and student hatchery programs at Rowan University, where he served at the Rohrer Chair of Entrepreneurial
Studies, and the University of South Alabama.
Dr. Weaver received his BS degree in Industrial Management and a PhD in Management from Louisiana State
University. He published over 100 referred articles, book chapters, cases, and proceedings papers.
A tour of the Coastal Innovation Hub will be available after the meeting concludes.
