Pos. # 149 02 952 (164-2) DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Two years of supervisory experience at least one of which must have been in an income maintenance or services program, and preferably with one year of experience in an income maintenance program; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Income Maintenance Administrator oversees Work First Eligibility, Daycare, Family & Children’s Medicaid and the Transportation Service workers. This employee is responsible for 46 staff members. This position reports directly to the Agency Director and makes sure all duties assigned to the Division are performed correctly, timely, and efficiently as mandated by State and Federal program policies and procedures. Responsibilities include oversight of all agency/county personnel policies, assuring procedures are correctly interpreted and applied, developing the Division’s goals and objectives, providing input for budget planning, providing input for agency mission and goals, participating member of management team, coordinating workflow of the Division, developing work plans, reviewing policy changes and the impact of the changes with the Director, interviewing for staff vacancies, developing orientation and training for new staff, planning training for all staff and performing other duties as required or assigned by the Director. ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Shelter management in times of natural disaster.
