Position: Learning Resources for Student-Athletes Study Monitor
Located on the 4th floor of the Yawkey Athletic Center, Learning Resources for Student-Athletes (LRSA)
provides academic support to all varsity student-athletes. We offer academic counseling and advising for
student-athletes, tutoring, study hall, and developmental instruction, as well as services for studentathletes with learning disabilities.
Study monitors are primarily responsible for maintaining a quiet study environment and enforcing the
rules of the study center. Study monitors also ensure that all student-athletes properly sign in and out of
our Accutrack database, direct students to appropriate tutor rooms if necessary, and check attendance
of mandatory tutoring sessions.
Requirements:
Must be a graduate student enrolled at least part time at Boston College
Must be available to work evening hours
Must attend mandatory department trainings (once a semester)
Compensation: $11.25/hr.
