QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Business Management or Public Administration or Related Field.
Successful experience in management and organizational development.
Outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated ability to supervise personnel.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Knowledge of current computing technologies and software applications appropriate to
the position’s responsibilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides overall leadership in development of the District’s Academic Business Plan
through interaction with appropriate district and community representatives and provision
of timely periodic updates of progress in achieving district goals.
2.
Assumes primary responsibility for structuring and executing operational and strategic
initiatives through developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data,
leading analyses and developing final recommendations.
3.
Prepares comprehensive, easily understood reports and makes effective presentations to various
staffs throughout the District, the School Board and various stakeholders throughout the
community.
4.
Establish and maintain processes and protocols to ensure that knowledge management
efforts are shaping strategy and informing decision making at all levels.
5.
Leads cross-functional, district-wide teams to complete special projects
6.
Supervises the selection, development and evaluation of assigned staff and
departments.
7.
Represents the school system at appropriate conferences and meetings.
8.
Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Deputy
Superintendent may assign.
Physical Demand Class: Sedentary Light (SL) - Occasional lifting and carrying of objects weighing 0
pounds or less. Infrequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing 11-20 pounds. Occasional walking
and/or standing may be required.
