Objective
Improve the academic achievement
of students.
Increase enrollment and success of
underserved student populations
(i.e. veterans, LBGTQI, returning
adult, and college bound scholars).
Strategy
1. Collaborate with Instruction Commission on
common issues impacting student success.
Intended Outcome
1. IC/WSSSC will hold a joint Executive
Committee meeting in the fall to identify
partnership opportunities.
2. Create a learning environment free of
sexual harassment & assault for all learners;
protect parenting/pregnant student access
to education as defined by Title IX.
2. Create a shared online resource colleges
could use to efficiently provide online
trainings for students, staff & faculty to be
in compliance with VAWA and Title IX.
3. Leverage best practices of ATD/College
Spark/AVID for student success.
3. Catalog of which college has utilized which
practices in WA state effectively to increase
student success.
1. Increase access to education & college
completion for DREAMers through
utilization of the WASFA.
