Dirk Spindler
Schaeffler AG Supervisory Board Member
After completing secondary school, Dirk Spindler studied mechanical engineering from 1983 to 1990 at
Kaiserslautern Technical University before starting his professional career as a test engineer (NVH) at INA.
Between 1990 and 2009, Dirk Spinder worked in various functions throughout the Schaeffler Group.
Starting in 2009, Dirk Spindler was the Manager of Corporate Development for the Schaeffler Group and then
became the Senior Vice President R&D Industrial in 2013.
Since 2016, he has been a member of the Executive Committee Industrial and Senior Vice President R&D
and Application Engineering of Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG.
In addition to his position on the Supervisory Board at Schaeffler AG, Dirk Spindler is also the Chairman of the
Executive Staff Representation Committee of Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG and a member of the
Executive Board for the FAG Foundation.
