Oliver Jung (Dipl.-Ing.) Chief Operating Officer Schaeffler AG Oliver Jung (b. 1962) studied mechanical engineering at the Karlsruhe Technical University (TH). In 1989, he began his professional career as a production planner at Robert Bosch GmbH in Bühl. After working in various positions at Bosch, Mr. Jung joined Schmitz Cargobull AG in 1999, where he was appointed as a member of the Executive Board responsible for the areas of production and quality management in 2004. In 2008, Mr. Jung joined the Schaeffler Group as President of the Tapered Roller Bearings business unit, and in 2009 became a member of the Industrial Division’s Management Board, where he was in charge of the Schaeffler Group’s rolling bearings business. Mr. Jung became a Member of the Board of Management of Schaeffler GmbH at the end of 2010, and took charge of the Operations Worldwide and Manufacturing Methods Development business divisions. When the company’s legal form changed to Schaeffler AG, he was in charge of these areas as a Member of the Executive Board. In September of 2013, Mr. Jung became a member of Schaeffler AG’s Executive Board in the role of Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for Production, Logistics and Purchasing within the Schaeffler AG.
