Uh-oh.. Just noticed that today is Friday The 13TH. Dum-de-dum-dum…DAH!@
I’m not superstitious, so just keep the black cats and ladders to yourself. Stuff happens and that’s all you
can say about it.
It certainly has been an enjoyable week with temperatures getting into the 60’s. Today, we’ll be flirting
with 70. Lots of sun. This was the week to play hookie.
And, have you seen the moon? If you have a reasonably clear sight line when the moon begins to rise in
the evening, you’d swear we are about to collide. It is so big and so bright you feel like you could reach
out and touch it. In the morning, if I had to drive in a westerly direction in order to get to work, I’d have to
wear sunglasses; make that moonglasses.
Unfortunately, now that we are on the eve of the first weekend in several that didn’t include some kind of
family or friend commitment, the clouds are gathering, rain is in the forecast and we’ve seen the last of the
mild weather for a while. There is so much that remains to be done around the Reisterer Ranch, I will
probably need to take a couple days vacation.
Although I’m certain those will end up being the exact same days when we’ll have record low
temperatures, winds from Siberia and snow.
Maybe I should just let the place return to nature?? Nah….
