STATE SUPERINTENDENT’S PRINCIPALS’ ADVISORY COUNCIL
You are invited to participate in the 2007-08 State Superintendent’s Principals’ Advisory Council
meetings. The first meeting of the school year will be held November 7, 2007, in the NC Education
Building, 7th Floor State Board of Education Lounge, Raleigh, NC. The event will begin with lunch at
12:30 p.m. followed by the meeting from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
As leaders in your region and/or association, your expertise is valued. We look forward to your input
about important issues facing public education. Two other meetings will be held during the school
year. They are tentatively scheduled for the afternoons of January 24, 2008, and April 16, 2008.
Please confirm your attendance by October 26, 2007, with Frank Pore at fpore@dpi.state.nc.us. If you
have suggested agenda items for the first meeting, please send them at this time to Mr. Pore.
Participants will receive reimbursement for travel expenses at the state rate. The invitation list is
attached for your information.
