Bating agents to optimise cutting yield
The raw hide being the highest cost component in leather making continues to encourage tanners to maximise the useable area of their hides.
These newly released pancreatic enzymes gently relax the hide structure and allow deep bating without loosening the grain. They are specially designed to optimise the area yield whilst keeping the grain fine and tight, even in the flanks.
OROPON
®
MS gran. – for soft leather types
Formulated to achieve soft nappa leather-types with a very good inner softness.
Gives a fine and soft, yet tight and elastic grain.
OROPON
®
MT gran. – for firm leather types
Optimised formulation for firmer leather articles. Facilitates a fine, tight and elastic grain with good grain-enamel.
Both products clean the grain and loosen scud very well. Thanks to their unique granulate trading form they are safe to handle.
In response to the demand for a reduction in ammonium salts in the waste water, these products have been developed free of ammonium salts and ideally they are used together with ammonium-free or low-ammonium containing deliming systems.
