Shannon Park Families,
Take me out to the ballgame! For the 6th straight year, Shannon Park has negotiated a block of tickets to
an upcoming Twins game and students, staff and families are invited to participate. In addition to the
game against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Shannon Park Da Capo Choir will sing “The Star-Spangled
Banner” before the game.

Shannon Park has 350 tickets available for purchase for this event. Orders will be processed on a firstcome, first-served basis. Once we hit the 350 ticket limit, orders that cannot be filled will be returned to
students as soon as possible.
The Shannon Park Site Council is making a limited number of tickets available at free or reduced prices
for those with a financial need. Please note this need on your order form for consideration or contact the
Shannon Park office for more information.
Wheelchair seating may also be available. Please note any special seating requirements on your order
form so they may be addressed as seating options allow.

Da Capo Choir Members: Singers will need to purchase a ticket to the game. Choir members will wear
solid-colored white shirts and solid-colored black slacks, shorts or skirts for the performance of “The
Star-Spangled Banner”. All Da Capo Choir singers planning to perform at the Twins game should attend
one or both of the following rehearsals: Tuesday, May 24, 8:20 a.m. and Tuesday, May 31, 8:20 a.m.
Game-day/performance information will be distributed with tickets for those who RSVP’d on the order
form.
Choir members who know they cannot attend, please RSVP “WILL NOT sing” on the attached order
form. This indicates to Mrs. Radspinner that you saw the order form, but cannot attend and eliminates the
need for Mrs. Radspinner to track choir members down and verify participation.
* In case of inclement weather, call 1-800-33-TWINS to check on the game status. Please note that
MOST baseball games will be played, even in light rain.

Join us for a Twins game and to hear our own Da Capo Choir sing “The Star-Spangled Banner”. Tickets
are limited, so orders will be processed on a first come, first-served basis. Orders that are unable to be
filled will be returned, along with payment. To participate, please fill out this form and have your student
return it to his/her teacher along with the total amount due. Note: To sing the “The Star-Spangled
Banner”, Da Capo Choir members must buy a ticket and RSVP below.




Checks should be payable to “Minnesota Twins”.
Please write “Shannon Park Elementary” on the memo of your check.
Please do not staple your checks to your order form.
There are no exchanges or refunds.
Order forms and payment must be returned no later than Monday, May 2, 2016.
