Clinton E. Day, MBA, CRPC, CPCU Founder, builder, and seller of three small businesses in the Southeastern United States who teaches self-employment in semi-retirement. Combines the perspective of “real-world” experience with the academics of a MBA in entrepreneurship. A researcher on the characteristics and motivation of successful entrepreneurs, Clint challenges students by using the case method, innovative teaching, and leadership motivation. From new venture formation to buying an existing business, his courses provides the nuts and bolts needed to build an independent business. A Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and life member of California Scholarship Federation, Clint is a graduate of University of California, Eckerd College, and Salve Regina University. He is the past President of the Atlanta Chapter of the AAII, American Association of Individual Investors. AAII is a nonprofit organization based in Chicago, IL with 150,000 members whose purpose is to assist individuals become effective managers of their own assets. He is also a former U. S. Army officer awarded the Bronze Star for service in Vietnam. As the principal in three Florida and Georgia start-up businesses, he built a combined sales volume of thirty five million. His career emphasized creativity, self-reliance, and adaptability and focused on niche opportunities, product innovation, and customer service. A student of time management, business organization, and goals gradient, Clint now helps younger adults advance in the direction of their dreams.
