Google Analytics: Some simiple reminders and images To learn more about page usage, you can use the Analytics available in CommonSpot. Before you do this, log into your Google account in another browser window or tab. You can also use the Analytics available from the Google Analytics site (base URL https:///www.google.com/analytics). The following images are taken from the Google Analytics site. Find your pages 1. Log into Google Analytics. 2. Access Behavior > Site Content > All Pages as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1. Select Behavior > Site Content > All pages 3. Click the “advanced” link on the page that appears, as shown in Figure 2. Figure 2. Advanced link 4. As shown in Figure 3, select the data from your site. a. Choose Begins with from the selection list. b. In the blank field, enter the site or subsite for which you want data. Do not include http://www.uwstout.edu/. Begin with a / and end with a /. For example, /dining/ would provide data for the entire Dining site, while /dining/plan/ would limit data to the pages found under http://www.uwstout.edu/dining/plans/. c. Click the Apply button. You can use the Acquisition > All Traffic to see viewer source data (refer to Figure 5). Figure 5.
