telecom access sites with no or poor AC grid supply.
Description
Telecom networks operating in areas around the world—Africa, Asia, Caribbean,
South America and other regions—are often faced with unreliable, insufficient, or
poor quality AC utility infrastructure, particularly in their access networks.
By leveraging proven NetSure™ DC power systems and rectifiers, and blending
generator, grid/mains, renewable energy sources with deep cycle battery energy
storage, Emerson Network Power hybrid energy solutions easily handle challenging
telecom access site environments while enabling operators to ensure network
reliability and simultaneously reduce site operational costs.

For the more common outdoor installations, Emerson Network Power’s NetSure™ H
Series leverages the NetXtend™ Duo outdoor enclosure. With its compact frame and
industry leading, single enclosure site footprint, it can withstand hot, wet, or dry climate conditions, and ensures the lowest energy profile from cooling and lighting
systems. This innovative outdoor solution further reduces operational cost of the
telecom site and environmental impacts.
Application
The NetSure™ H Series of integrated hybrid DC power solutions are designed for use
at outdoor or indoor wireless network access sites, backbone sites and hub sites. The
solutions facilitate hybrid operation of mains, diesel generator, battery, renewable
energy and standby DC power equipment with large battery backup requirements.
