Renewable and Sustainable Energy
BioBio-Fuels
The first discussion forum on the topic of Bio-Fuels will be held on
Friday 16 March 2007 at 15h00 at Katjiepiering in the Stellenbosch University
Botanical Garden. Prof Emile van Zyl and Dr Johann Görgens will introduce the topic
where after an open discussion will follow on the prospects of bio-fuels in SA and the
world, the contribution bio-fuels can make to prevent global warming, and possible
projects that can be initiated to stimulate growth in this area.
All academic staff and students, representatives from the public and private sectors as
well as the general public are welcome to attend. There will be a small reception
afterwards.
