Proven in commercial operation:
Siemens SGT-8000H gas turbine series
Discover the world of gas turbines from an
entirely new perspective. Our innovative
SGT-8000H series has set a new standard with
its world-record efficiency rate of more than
60 percent in combined-cycle operation.
Its low life cycle costs, high reliability and
availability, operational flexibility, and low
emissions make it a trendsetting solution
for clean fossil power generation.
The SGT6-8000H is at the core of several
new power plants in South Korea – namely
Bugok III, which is already in operation, as well
as Ansan, Andong, and Incheon, which are
scheduled to commence commercial operation
in 2014. Why not discover the SGT-8000H
series at our booth and attend one of the
detailed presentations that will be held in the
Siemens X-pert Center on a fixed schedule?
Robust design and high efficiency:
Siemens SGT-800 gas turbine
The Siemens SGT-800 industrial gas turbine
combines a reliable robust design with high
efficiency and low emissions. The turbine is
available in two versions with ISO ratings
from 47.5 MW(e) to 50.5 MW(e) and with flexibility in between. The SGT-800 offers broad
flexibility in fuels, operation conditions, maintenance concepts, package solutions, and
ratings to meet current and future market
needs. For excellent performance at high
ambient temperatures (>33°C) a hot match
compressor option is available with increased
power output and efficiency.
The excellent efficiency and steam-raising
capability of the SGT-800 makes it outstanding
in cogeneration and combined-cycle
installations, including process industries
and district heating schemes. With more than
180 units of the SGT-800 gas turbine sold,
the robust design and proven high reliability
also makes it an excellent choice for refineries
and for other oil and gas customers. Don’t
miss the opportunity to learn more about the
SGT-800 at our booth.
Hybrid Power Solutions: Minimizing
operating costs and emissions through
offsetting
Siemens Hybrid Power Solutions provide
reliable power while integrating high levels
of solar and/or wind energy with diesel power
plants. This hybridization leads to a significant
reduction in operating costs and emissions.
Performance contracting guarantees customer
goals and minimizes project risk.
Every project is customized for local conditions
based on a detailed analysis of the customers’
load requirements, solar and wind resources.
Careful system design of all generation units
provides stability through frequency, active
power, and voltage control. Utilizing integrated
energy storage enables up to 100 percent peak
penetration of renewables.
