Woodgrain Millwork Nampa Doors Division Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Intern Job Location: Nampa, Idaho Job duties include: Assist in a parts reduction effort through analysis of existing door designs Look for cost reduction opportunities using DfX (X = Manufacturability, Assembly) Duration: 3 - 6 months; springboard potential to evolve to longer-term and/or full-time employment Hours: Flexible: Max 20 hours / week Compensation: $10 -$15 / hour depending on experience Qualifications: Must be enrolled in one of Boise State’s engineering programs at the junior or senior level (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering studies preferred). Excellent computer (including CAD), interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required. Previous manufacturing and/or wood products experience preferred.
