Meeting Business
Recap: Chalk and Wire Sessions
● Thanks to all who helped out at the sessions!
● One suggestion for future sessions was to print the instructions/PowerPoint slides so that
students can take them home to refer to later. This may not be necessary because directions
are already on the website.
Committee and Partnerships
● Brady is working with professor Hwang’s Ed 220 class. They have videotaped their
metaphor projects and plan to upload short clips to their Ed 220/NETS Portfolios.
○ One problem that some students have run into is not having any editing software on
their computers.
○ Additionally, videos longer than 1015 cannot be efficiently uploaded to chalk and
wire.
○ In order to show a longer portion of their presentation on their portfolio, students
could possibly upload their video to Youtube or Vimeo and then add the link to their
portfolios.
○ Sarah S. will be joining Brady on the project
● Douglas Sarah K. will contact the teachers at Douglas again to see if the committee could
be of use to them this semester.
● Hamilton The committee is not needed at this point in time.
