HV GIS Switchgear Extension

Switchgear and Field Services from Siemens undertook the engineering, delivery, installation,
and commissioning of nine GIS bays for this substation, including a local control system that
is similar to the existing one. During the work, such as incorporation into the existing control
system or the implementation of an additional mechanical interlocking system, there was
no need for a complete substation shutdown.
