This addendum forms a part of the Contract documents, and modifies the following as noted
below:
1.
Original Bid documents Dated April 16, 2009
Acknowledge receipt of all addenda in the space provided on the Bid Form.
ADDENDUM CONTENT
CLARIFICATIONS
1.
Quiet Hours - work may not begin until 8:00 AM.
2.
Construction Limit Fence - is mandatory and minimum type shall be plastic snow
fence.
3.
CAD project files will not be available for bidding purposes.
4.
Soil Boring Information - will be posted to the Facilities website.
5.
Parking - vehicle and equipment parking is allowed within the construction limit as
permitted by the construction process.
6.
Existing Utilities - all utilities have been shown according to the best information.
Contractor is responsible for field verification prior to commencing work. Some of the
utilities are private (such as the water main that crosses the parking lot area) and
must be located by a private locating firm working for the contractor.
REVISIONS TO DRAWINGS
1.
See Addendum #1 Detail 8 Sheet C4.0 which is attached.
Note added requiring curing compound for colored concrete.
Notes added identifying broom pattern in the colored bands.
REVISIONS TO SPECIFICATIONS
1.
Advertisement For Bids, Project Information Paragraph 1 - change the first
sentence to “ the project shall be substantially complete within 50 days”.
