You never know what you
could have until you try new
things.

 This is the end from which you can not
defend, you see through the lies you tell
to yourself saying you’re still on the shelf ,
but this is the end.

 Celp builds strength. Whether it’s our
sheer sled-pulling power, or our powers of
metaphor, we’ve come a long way.

Julia de Reijke
 I am so thankful for CELP because it has
brought me so much joy, new friendships,
and new values. The people I’ve met and
the bonds we’ve made will always have a
special place in my heart.

 CELP has been like the ultimate pause
button in my life. It has allowed me to take
a step back, and just figure things out. I
can’t wait to hit “play”, because I know I
will be a stronger, wiser, and happier me.

 From the friends I’ve made, the
experiences I’ve had and the back
problems I’ve developed, I love CELP.

Kiran Heble
 We’ve become like 23 people stuck in a
connector inspector web. No one can do
without the others. Whether badger or
bald eagle, I can say I’m more alive,
awake, alert and enthusiastic than ever.

Sahara Hesselink May
 I thought I came to CELP to find people
who were like me. People who shared
the same ideas, interests, senses of
humor. I didn’t. Instead, I met 22 of the
greatest people I’ve ever known.

CELP is not a word, CELP is not a line,
CELP is not a thing that can ever be
defined.

 Even though it doesn't see like we did a
lot, I learned more at CELP than I did
anywhere else in my life

 The tent was my home for five days. I
don’t mean home by just a place where I
eat, drink, and sleep, but a place where I
can feel welcomed, happy, loved.

 CELP is a personal growth experience
like no other. As I started to stop, reflect
and appreciate special moments in life, I
see that life goes by but I have to take
every moment for what it is.

Tyler McEachern
Don’t sweat the little things; appreciate

When we started CELP, we thought we knew what it
was about, but coming out, we no longer know what it is
or why we did it; we do know that it was not easy, but
we know that we did it, and it know makes up a part of
us. On the 21st of June, 2012, we will take our last
steps on these paths, we will mount the bus and nod
our heads to Darryl for the last time; but we leave here
with something that has no end. The memories, the
connections, the stories. Most importantly, we will leave
knowing that every time we look into someone’s eyes,
we will know if they had the same experience, because
their eyes will be stained with the same tears. Tears
that were never shed alone.

 In this world there are 2 types of people.
There are winners and there are learners.
And with that there are no losers.
33

Charlotte Savage
 Celp has taught me many things that I will
use for the rest of my life, most relevantly
how to create thoughtful quotes on
command.
35
36
Timothy Sproule
 Celp is like a spice. Over the whole
semester you learn about the intricacies,
uses and ingredients that mesh together.
At the end of the semester you learn how
to sprinkle a little of this spice in everyday
life.

 Every smile, every laugh, every tear,
every hug. Every stupid moment and silly
memories will forever be ingrained in our
hearts, souls, and minds.
39

Brittany Thatcher
 Life without CELP is like a cat without
whiskers. Without it, sensing the world
around you is almost an impossible task.
You couldn’t creep through new doors of
opportunity. And you wouldn’t even look
cute climbing a tree.
41

Kaitlin Wagner
 People coming together to enjoy each
other’s company; spending time sharing
stories and experience. That is what
CELP means to me. Everlasting
memories that I will always cherish.
43
44
Timothy Watson
 somewhere in school we’re taught that
our educations should be more important
then our relationships. CELP teaches us
to focus on our relationships with our
friends and our selves and put education
on the back burner.
45
46
Parrish Wylie
 Friendships made in CELP are something
that can’t be described, they are
something you need to experience
yourself.
