But they did. And for this, I am truly thankful.
Thankful for the experiences I have been
fortunate to be involved in. Thankful for the
dedicated masterminds behind this whole
operation. But most of all, I am thankful for all of
you; a remarkable collection of individuals,
together as one, who have changed my life
forever.

It is because I’ve had the support of a community that
I can see what I am individually capable of. I have
now been immersed in singing, creating, traveling,
gazing, listening… living. I love them all dearly for
showing me that.

To sum up our semester it would take thousands of words. One
thing I want to take back from CELP is community. We can
learn environmental studies with anyone, leadership with others,
but you cannot find a great community in any group. It takes
great people to create a stable community. Community is such
a simple word that is so overlooked. Community is hard. We
have created a family; the good, the bad, and the ugly. I can
truly say, after this experience I have found community. Thank
you for giving me the best gift of all, family.

Celp isn’t just a word anymore, it is an

sensational. It is an education which you can not
see being built. It is an invisible movement. It
makes so much sense, yet is such a mystery.

I feel that in CELP we were allowed to be WILD.
Surrounded by Nature we were not bound by
everyday tasks and expectations. If everyone
lived like that, there would be fewer problems in

place in my heart, I’ll never forget. Keep smiling and
change the world because I know we all have the
passion and mind set to make the world a better place.

to be far away. If that’s not what you need, you can be certain we’ll be the first ones to
push you off the cliff, to make you walk the plank. But even as you are falling through
emptiness, remember those times when someone held your hand. There is no fear to
be had, for the future, surely, cannot be as fearsome as the past. If you feel as though
you’ll never amount to anything, know that we think you are beautiful. If you feel as
though the world misunderstands you, don’t worry – there is nothing to fear in the
world’s naϊveté, only in its ignorance. If you feel fear for anything at all, just know that
we love you.

eventually turn into our memories. The memories that
we have turn into moments that we each treasure. So
go out and experience those moments, so that they
may turn into memories, so that those will turn into
precious moments that we each treasure forever.
